MaryJane, Ph.D, LMFT, LPC, NCC
I like to think of myself as a Sherpa--an experienced guide along the trail who can help you navigate obstacles that have fallen in your way, so you can reach new vistas of personal healing and transformation. My own healing journey began at age 26 when my life was falling apart. That was over half my life ago, and I've never turned back. I am a fervent seeker, and nothing is more exhilarating to me than assisting and supporting other seekers. If that includes you, I'd be most honored to be a Sherpa for your journey.
The tools in my backpack include:
- a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy
- two licenses to practice psychotherapy (LMFT, LPC)
- board certification to as a psychotherapist (NCC)
- over 20 years of experience in private practice working primarily with childhood trauma survivors
- certification (from Integrative Psychiatry Institute) as a Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Provider with advanced training in psilocybin-assisted therapy
- advanced training in MDMA-assisted therapy through MAPS (now Lykos)
- a license to facilitate psilocybin journeys in the state of Oregon, USA
- personal experience with altered states of consciousness and the follow-up integration to make them transformational
- professional experience working with seekers of transformation through psychedelic journeys and integrative practices
